Daniel’s decade in the kitchen includes time at Benu in San Francisco and Myeongdong Kyoja in Seoul, where he perfected everything from delicate broths to hearty stews. Sarah learned the ropes at Gahm Mi Oak in New York and Haeundae Somunnan Gamjatang in Busan, mastering the soulful side of Korean cuisine. Together, we’ve tested, tasted, and tweaked hundreds of recipes — like our refreshing hwachae or spicy tteokbokki — to make sure they work for you every time.
